You’ve found Nani Prints, Nani Paape’s Seattle-based micro-business that offers print production management, copywriting, and creative project planning.
Two years ago, I was a highly experienced print production manager and marketer determined to land a hands-on print manager position with a graphic design firm. Too bad my hunt ran head-on into the 2008 economic downturn! As it intensified, many printing presses slowed to a halt and few studios were hiring staff production managers. Luckily, I landed some great contracting opportunities which propelled me toward being an Inadvertent Entrepreneur.
Now I am building on my independent business successes by offering professional services under the Nani Prints name. It’s becoming much more than the lemonade I squeezed from the lemons of economic downturn and uncertainty—it’s a much sweeter drink than I ever could have imagined!
When my industry contacts and potential customers discovered my copywriting talent and ability to wrangle projects into order, they encouraged me to add these offerings to the Nani Prints brew. As Canopy founder Brenda Rossman enthused, “While Nani’s extraordinary print management experience is practically a given, Canopy had the joy of discovering she is a superb copywriter as well.”
Years of exposure to and involvement in design, production, messaging, and print manufacturing give me a cornucopia of tools to call on when assessing your project’s teensy details and its big picture. I collaborate comfortably with creative pros, craft quality messages, and shepherd your creative visions into quality finished products—both in print and in words.
Please visit my Printing Services and Writing Services pages, and don’t miss my blog, Printing Disasters—and How to Avoid Them. There you’ll find Cautionary Tales and Disaster Avoidance Tips designed to steer designers—and those who love them—safely through the world of printing.
I’m glad you’re here!
